Come and tell the MS Trust your views – new workshop date
A message from national charity, the MS Trust:
If you live with MS, or love or care for someone with MS, the MS Trust would like to hear from you!
The MS Trust is keen to hear from all people who have MS in their lives, to understand how our information and services can better serve the MS community, so that all information and services for the MS community are co-designed with the MS community.
Workshop
The MS trust is running a ‘Have your Say’ workshop at the Berkshire MS Therapy Centre on Wednesday 30 November, and you’re invited to join us any time between 11am and 1pm to tell us what you think. Don’t worry if you can’t make it for the whole session.
This is a great opportunity for the MS community to speak out on issues about MS. In return for your input the MS Trust will be providing a £10 shopping voucher to all those who participate in the workshop.
How to take part
If you would like to attend, please email claire@bmstc.org or call 0118 901 6000 with any queries.

The Access Card
The Access Card (sometimes referred to as the CredAbility Card or a Nimbus Card) is a card which translates your disability or impairment into symbols that highlight the barriers you face and the reasonable adjustments you might need.
This then informs providers quickly and discreetly about the support you need and may gain you access to things like concessionary ticket prices and reasonable adjustments without having to go into a lot of personal detail. Examples might include information about a visual impairment, difficulty queuing or needing urgent access to a toilet.
The card is credit card sized so easy to carry in your purse and wallet so you can use it when out and about in shops, businesses and on transport etc.. The card costs £15 for three years.
