Our lotto has fantastic odds, and once set up it requires no time or effort on your part. Therapy Centre members can buy one or more numbers which are entered into twelve monthly draws. There are no running costs, so a guaranteed 50% of all income is awarded as cash prizes, and all the rest goes straight towards the running of the centre. With numbers costing only £5 each per month, the income from just 100 sales builds a prize fund of £3000 a year, with the same amount going to help fund the centre. With three prizes a month, the odds are extremely good.
Hannah Dunk, daughter of one of our BMSTC members, was inspired by her Mum to set up her own business making fashionable clothing for wheelchair users.
“My mother Helen has always been a very glamorous lady. Being diagnosed with secondary progressive multiple sclerosis 14 years ago my mum is now wheelchair bound. I have found it almost impossible to find her fashionable clothing to fit comfortably. Being hoisted means that material rides up exposing her midriff. I came up with clothing designs to help her protect her dignity and of course to show the world she is still young and fashionable. I am thrilled to share the designs with you all!
