Therapy & support at our positive, down-to-earth Centre
Our aim is to provide affordable and accessible complementary therapies, often not available on the NHS, as well as information and support, to those with MS. We strive to provide a warm and caring environment – somewhere people can come for a chat and a drink, as well as therapy.
We are a small registered charity, affiliated to the Multiple Sclerosis National Therapy Centres. There are more than 60 centres around the UK; ours was founded in 1984. We are based between Abingdon and Didcot.
Centre facilities
The Centre has three treatment rooms, where therapies take place. The main reception and social area provides space for a cup of tea and a chat. It also has a PC where members can browse the web or just check their email.
We also have an Information Point, providing a good selection of literature to Centre users – specifically selected for its relevance to those with MS.
Our Oxygen chamber was installed at the formation of the Centre and is operated by a number of trained volunteers, running scheduled sessions. It provides oxygen at increased pressure (see the Therapies page for more details). Oxygen Therapy is also available for people without MS at below commercial rates.

Running the Centre
The on-going operation of the Centre is overseen by our Centre Manager, Sue Doran, reporting to our board of Trustees. Sue is your first port of call for any queries you have about the Centre. Contact Sue on the number above, or via our contact form.
On a day-to-day basis, the running of the Centre is aided massively by our volunteers. If you have some free time, we’d love it if you could help too.
